Dave and I have been together for a week now...
Parents have been met on both sides.
Time spent together is insane...but so good
I just love spending time with him. We can talk for hours and hours and not notice.
I know this "make other people vomit" stuff doesn't last forever and eventually all relationships settle, but I don't want this part to end.
I'm adored, and I adore him!
He looks after me and I look after him.
Right now I would say life is perfect!
Who knows what tomorrow may bring but it can only get better from here.
You know it's a good start to a relationship when you cook your man dinner and he just keeps raving about it :)

Today is the last day of work for the year. Not even a day really, a half day, a clean up day.
Everyone is so happy and cheery and breathing a sigh of relief that the year has finally come to a close. But how fast did it all go?!? It's slightly freaky just how fast this year has gone and what I have had to pack into it!
I'm exhausted...but happy I have decided. It has been a pretty rough year health wise, but I'm slowly getting on top of that. Work has been full on, Karaoke and working for Karen has been full on. Met some great people, realised what some are really like, and consequently those people were cut out of my life for good.
What a year! what a year!
Now to plan for next year, the big change! Going part time at school and part time for Karen. Working on my music. It is scary and exciting at the same time!
Only God knows what next year will bring and what it will lead to...

This time next week....I will still be in bed because it will be holidays and I'm very very happy about that.
This year has been....a struggle sometimes, just to get up in the morning. Everything is kind of a blur. One day has run into the next, and now I find myself at the end of the year, wondering where all the time went.

Probably cause I have just been supervising other classes today and I have to apparently supervise children at the pool this arvo. Oh Joy....please don't drown I don't want to get my hair wet saving you!

My life is really pretty good. But still have unnerving desire to be liked by everyone. It is causing some anxiety.
I didn't lose all of the weight I wanted to...that worries me.
But then again why should I worry so much about what people I haven't seen or spoken to in 10 years think of me?
I have 3 of my closest friends comin with me. They are who count to me now, and they love me just as I am.
Hmmm feeling slightly better...wish life was as easy to process as thought processes.
Have also noted that journal entry have very "Bridget Jones" feel to it. Most likely because I am reading the series now.

So they have graduated. My darling year 12s. We had the year 12 Chapel yesterday morning and they left for their beach trip after some very touching words and a group hug from my boys.
I am really going to miss this bunch. They are fantastic kids and I love them dearly.
Good luck my darlings I know you are going to do well in everything you put your minds too. Don't let the world get you down because you are bigger and better than anything life can throw at you!

What a year it has been, so full on and I'm starting to crash!
Next year will be so very different, only working part time...that's actually kinda scary making that change.
ah well life goes on....not too much longer and I will be on holidays...so very excited about that!

Sometimes God gives us beautiful people outside of our family who become like family. We are a bunch whos ages go from 3 to 47...and you know what, we are happy that way. I wouldn't trade in any of these people for the world.
They are the next best thing to my family when I'm away from Brissy and can't see my family. We like to think of ourselves as a family...and I like it that way.

So next year is a year of new things. It's kinda scary when I really sit and think about it. LIfe is changing, but what else can I expect, I am nearly 28.
Going part time teaching is a huge thing for me. Persuing music is even bigger. It's a whole world of new and as I get closer to it, I wonder more and more what will come of next year.
I have decided to go somewhere new every school holidays. Even just for a couple of days. I want to see things and travel. I want to have fun. I want to experience life.
After the dissapointment of being told that "maybe singing isn't what God really wants me to do" it seems God has proven that incorrect!
Next year is the start of HUGE things!
Today it was approved for me to go part time next year at school! This leaves me open to work in the entertainment industry with Karen as well as working on my duo with Ryan and the big one....recording my album!
Next year is gonna be a BIG one!
